Swazi Poles' business is set to soar

Thanks to an influx of orders, timber treatment plant, Swazi Poles, recently opened a second facility to accommodate their growing clientele.

Based in Nlanghano in Swaziland, the company specialises in the manufacturing and distribution of treated timber. MD, Callie van der Merwe, says Dolphin Bay has assisted with the company’s after-sales and technical service requirements since 2007.

Their new plant will be twice the size of their current one and will focus on construction timber, fencing as well as manufacturing transmission poles.
Mark Duckham, sales executive at Dolphin Bay, says Swazi Poles and Dolphin Bay are both progressive companies, who are investing a lot of time and money into future growth which makes them a good match in business.

“What makes Callie’s employees such a stellar team, is the emphasis they place on delivering a high quality product in the time-frame their client requires,” says Mark.

Callie says some of the challenges of running a timber treatment plant include procuring enough raw material to meet demands, but the rewards are the sustainable growth in business and satisfied clients.

In conclusion he adds that Dolphin Bay not only provides good service, but also a personal touch that has cemented a good business relationship.
“We are proud to be working with Swazi Poles and to provide them with support and technical expertise. Callie is the type of customer that keeps on challenging Dolphin Bay to find better ways of doing things which has lead to some innovative research and existing potential projects. We are looking forward to build on our longstanding relationship to the benefit of both our companies” says Bertus.
