In 2025, LIGNA - the world's leading trade fair for the woodworking and wood processing industry - will turn 50!
After LIGNA emerged from HANNOVER MESSE in 1975 at the height of the oil crisis, it is impossible to imagine the industry today without it as THE innovation and business platform. Looking back in history, LIGNA is often described as a rock in stormy times and not infrequently as an economic barometer - an important role in the current economically challenging times, which we would also like to fulfill in 2025.
